Fluorescent Floor Lamp

This lamp is 59.5” tall and has an adjustable gooseneck with an on/off switch.  This fluorescent light helps to simulate sunlight to provide for clear and bright lighting for reading or arts and crafts.  It is energy star certified, earth smart, and it comes with a 27 watt fluorescent bulb.

Some people say this is a great lamp while others are not quite so convinced though.  One issue pointed out is that sometimes the light can be a bit hesitant to come up at full force when its turned on.  The bulb in this is really what you’re paying for though, so if you really want a fluorescent bulb, you may not be too put off by this.

This got 3/5 stars from 15 customer reviews on Amazon, it will cost you $59.56 if you want to pick it up.

2.  Grandrich ES-144 13-Watt Energy Saving Compact Fluorescent Adjusted Floor Lamp, Black

Another one that has gotten similar reviews is this one with 3/5 stars from 4 customers.  It is energy saving, has a 10” diameter base that is 1” tall.  The arm is 54” tall at it’s maximum and the whole unit weighs in at 26 pounds. 

Some feel this is too short for a floor lamp and some don’t like the cord which runs outside the pole, however it definitely gets the job done.  This one comes in either black white or red colors and will cost you $50.

Now these reviews aren’t glaring, but truth be told, it is hard to find a good fluorescent floor lamp on the Internet.  You can check other online stores though, you may be able to find a winner outside of Amazon, possibly on EBay or some other lighting and fixtures store online. 

Lastly, you can check around your local area for a fluorescent floor lamp as well, although it will be a lot harder to find one that way.
